Alumni Spotlight: Imran Kifayat has been named director of multifamily housing for the Washington Building Congress. Kifayat received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from FAMU in 1998. He previously served as principal with The Preston Partnership, where he directed the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
