More than 30 FAMU DRS students will participate in Black Architects in the Making (BAM) on February 20. Presented by two Miami architects, Craig Aquart and Naomi Harrison, BAM is a not-for-profit focused on educating middle and high school students about architecture. BAM workshops consist of creative fun games, presentations, physical model building, creating color boards, as well as computer modeling sessions. While BAM’s primary focus is towards black students, it is an equal opportunity program and as such students regardless of ethnicity are welcome and encouraged to participate.
