On Friday, 10.18 the SAET will host a “VR + AR Workshop” in the Walter Smith ARCH bldg from 1:30-4:30PM. Germanes Barnes, Assistant Professor at the Univ of Miami, will lead a hands-on introduction using the Unreal Engine visualization tool w/ AutoDesk Revit files. The event will also explore the HTC Vive, Oculus Quest and Magic Leap head-mounted displays. The workshop is the first of a series of VR+AR discussions hosted by the FAMU SAET Virtual Reality Design Lab (VRDL).
