On Wednesday, March 27, the FAMU architecture program will host a “Legos + Minecraft” Design Challenge. From 10:00AM-12:00, twenty-two 2nd and 3rd-grade students from the School of Arts and Science (SAS) will participate in an architecture workshop. The students will use the traditional and digital tools to design a new headquarters for the Marvel Avengers. The goal is to replicate the event at schools across Tallahassee’s Southside community.
