It is with a heavy heart the FAMU SAET announces that B.Arch. Alum Joyce Adams of Jacksonville passed away on May 28, 2020. Joyce was licensed in 2001 and employed by the Department of the Navy, Greshman/ Smith (Jacksonville), and Shands Hospital (Jacksonville). Adams was one of less than 500 African-American women that are licensed, architects. Our prayers are with her friends and family.
