Prof Eduardo “Lalo” Robles, who is currently on extended medical leave, has been a full-time faculty at the FAMU SAET for 24 years. In recognition of Lalo’s passion for travel, alumni have proposed a travel fund in his name. Their goal is to create an endowment, which will help students participate in study abroad programs. Lalo strongly believes in the educational value of study abroad and alumni want to acknowledge his invaluable and important contributions to our school.
On Friday, October 19 @ 12:30, a formal announcement will be hosted in the Dean’s Conference Room, Walter Smith Arch building. For the occasion, guests from the Tallahassee Trust for Historic Preservation, the Tallahassee-Leon County Canopy Road Citizen’s Committee, AIA Tallahassee, retired architecture faulty, alumni and students will acknowledge Prof Robles’ contribution.
